Please find below the answers to some frequently asked questions about the End of Program Workshop. If you have other questions than the ones listed below, please contact your World Learning advisor. Please click on the drop-down arrow on the right to see the answer to the frequently asked question.
What is the dress code for the workshop?
As this is a virtual workshop, you can wear casual clothes. World Learning encourages all students to participate in the workshop with their cameras on, so please wear clothing that you are comfortable with others seeing you in. In addition, you will receive a Global UGRAD T-shirt in the mail prior to the workshop - you can also wear this T-shirt during the workshop.
What if I am not feeling well during the workshop?
If you are feeling ill, please inform your World Learning advisor either by email or WhatsApp. World Learning staff will help you take the appropriate steps to address your illness.
How do I access this virtual workshop?
This virtual workshop will run on a digital platform called, Whova. You will receive an email invitation to join the platform directly from Whova. This email invitation will also include instructions for how to download and use the mobile application. The URL link to join will also be available on this workshop website's home page. You can access Whova through the web-based platform (if using a computer to participate) or mobile platform (if using your mobile phone to participate), whichever one you prefer. World Learning will also send several reminders on how to access the platform.
Where can I learn more about Whova?
After you receive your invitation email, we encourage you to review the Whova tutorial videos available here: https://whova.zendesk.com/hc/en-us. These videos show how best to use the platform (mobile or web) to network with your fellow Global UGRAD students!
